Where did it go
25-01-2010My drive that is. For today, you can be 100% certain that I have none. Not a pinch. Not even a tid bit. I am drive-less.
It might be due to the fact that I was working all weekend. It might be because it is Monday. It might even be a result of working my ass off for the past two weeks and now things have eased off some what. So much so that my body has decided to come to a complete standstill in terms of work. Maybe this is its way of rebelling for everything I have put it through the past, say month or so, with work and over indulgence over the festive holidays.
Whatever the reason, I am getting through very little today. I seem to have to read a sentence twice just to make head or tail of it. Which has led me to here. In an effort to avoid reading and re reading simple sentences I have come on here to make even less sense to anyone that will bother reading this.
The upside of enduring a work filled weekend means I now have some time on lieu to play around with. Two whole days in fact. Glorious! One thing I must do on my precious day off is visit the optician. I managed to lose my glasses over the weekend. Correction, I actually misplaced them over the weekend but having searched the venue for them this morning and my bag, the misplaced status has now been upgraded to an official ‘lost’. So no excuses now, with no glasses and dwindling sight I really should get myself a new set and reinstate my Specky Four Eyes look. Very trendy. Still needs must.
I have a very busy few weekends coming up as well with a house-warming and a meeting of the two sets of parentals this weekend, a dinner date with friends and a rugby match next weekend. I am a woman in demand these days. Hopefully the drive will have returned by then, otherwise I may go MIA under all the work that has stacked up while I spent most of Monday afternoon trying to read one paragraph.

Thankfully it went really really well. 55,000 people over 2 and a half days so it was busy busy busy!
