Friday Feelings
12-03-2010Not the normal fun Friday feelings as I am now feeling the effects of that cold / flu bug that is doing the rounds and I would much rather but at home in bed than in work. But needs must as there is a mini event on today and the cold really hasnt taken hold and I have all weekend to recover, plus a nice long 5 days off in a row next week thanks to many hours worked up in lieu.
The ironey of it all is that my last blog was mocking the othr half for being the martyr and going into work when he was sick. Sunk myself with this one havent I
Heading home this weekend and have lots planned. Tomorrow I am meeting up with two of my great girls! Heading out to watch the rugby and having out unofficial St Patrick's Day as both of their celebrations on the day itself will be quite curtailed as one is working on the actual day and both are early in work the day after.
Mothers Day on Sunday as well which calls for a meal out with the family and some spoiling of the mother ship with cards and presents, before I have to make the trek back down to Dublin on the joy that is public transport.
