Buzz buzz buzz
01-06-2010Busy as a bee is what I am these days. There seems to be something on the horizon every weekend for the foreseeable future.
This weekend it's the father figures 50th. A whole half a century. So its time for a road trip north of the boarder for some family dinner and consoling the poor man. By consoling I mean teasing him about the latest grey hair he has, an extra wrinkle or two around the eye, you know, supporting family type stuff.
Next weekend its off to Liverpool for me (cue uber excitement) but not before having to work the bank holiday while everyone else basks in the whole 24 hours off work, then a very very early start on Wednesday morning in order to organise an event registration. Turns out it's a very busy time in work as well.
Then again I would be complaining if I had nothing to do bar sitting around all day twiddling my thumbs, well maybe not for the first week or two but after that I am sure I would.
