Cheer up sleep Jean
08-06-2010That 6 o'clock alarm that never rings will unfortunately go off with a very loud ring for me in the morning. With two big days ahead of me in work, I have a registration for a conference tomorrow morning in a hotel at the opposite end of the city at 7am tomorrow morning and an appointment with the TV3 studios at 7.30am the morning after that I will indeed be a very sleepy Karen. It wouldn't be so bad if I got off earlier than 6pm and I was feeling so poorly
However I have had a cracker of a headache for the last two days, there must be thunder in the air or something because I NEVER get headaches. Maybe it's sympathy pains for what the other half has to go through. I feel terrible complaining about a teeny tiny sore head when he has to deal with migraines. I really don't know how he does it. I have tried pain killers and nothing is working. I am pretty sure a 6am start in the morning won't be the cure.
Crap, what a moany whining entry. I should end on a more positive note.... LIVERPOOL!
On Thursday evening I will be heading north before flying out of Belfast on Friday morning with two of my oldest friends as we head off to bid farewell to one of the gang before she heads to oz for a year. I can promise you this, the headache I am enduring now will be a mere blip compared to the self inflicted pain that will be coming my way after a weekend away with this lot and I can't wait!
