Bedtime Giggles
07-09-2010Myself and the other half are a couple that head to bed together every night (minds OUT of the gutter people) I mean we go to bed at the same time as each other. Some nights we talk and talk, some nights we watch a little bit of TV, some nights we are both so exhausted we just hit the hay and then there are nights like last nights.
Messing. Like two kids.
First he stole my pillow, so then revenge had to be taken. Then there was the tickles. Followed swiftly by the poking out of the bed, finished with a 6ft 3 man taking up the whole bed as I tried to find a little space to crawl into. Followed by more tickles and more giggles.
All of this messing about, left us hyper and wide awake which meant it was well after 2am before the land of nod appeared in any way enticing.
This morning in work I am zonked so I think I deserve a little coffee treat, maybe a cappuccino, or a latte, or even better a flavored latte. My mouth is watering at the thoughts, I even think the sleep deprivation might just be worth it after all
