Always look on the bright side
02-02-2011Any males readers of this site please read on with caution - for the next few paragraphs I will be showing my inherently female side and all it's female insanity that will make sense to no man. Female readers, you may understand a little more where I am coming from.
Let me start of by saying I am not one of those girls who likes to walk around saying 'oh my god I am so fat' because, well I am not. I am quite happy with my figure, I wouldn't mind a little bit of toning here and there but who wouldn't. I am also not one of those pretty girls who likes to walk around saying 'god I am so ugly' knowing everyone will jump to my defense. I know I am not stunning, nor am I something that looks like I crawled out from living under a rock. I am, well, normal. Neither something worthy of writing home about, or something that belongs in a freak show at a carnival.
This week however, I am having one of those weeks.
I hate my hair. It has decided to act like this unmanageable mass of crap on my head. It also needs a trim which I neither have the cash or the time to do.
I hate everything I own in my wardrobe - it all is out of style, out dated and for some reason at least 90% of it seems to be black or grey. It also doesn't help that I work in an office with an effortlessly stylish co worker. The same statement can also be applied to her always immaculate hair.
My skin is making me look run down. It's wash out and tired looking. Probably from working insane hours over the past few weeks but the stress is definitely taking it's toll.
Basically I am feeling in dire need of a make over or just a freshen up of the oul image. Like I said, male readers, you just wouldn't get it.
Give me a few days and I will have built a bridge and got over it. It's a girl thing. In the meantime, it's nice just to rant about it
