So what have you been up to lately?
21-03-2011It's been a while since my last post. After complaining I wasn't as busy as I would normally like my work and social life seemed to hit the turbo setting. With everything going on recently I think I have managed to have two nights off in the past week. We had a huge film premiere happening last week which was all I pretty much lived and breathed in the run up to it. We have another premiere happening this week which has taken over the free time I had after the first one. It all sounds very glamorous but it's more about hard work than anything else. A hell of a lot of hard work.
In terms of social life there was a party after the first premiere (late and messy) then there was a work party, a friends house party then there was St Patrick's Day before I finally settled into my weekend which saw me head off to the Commitments gig on Saturday night before hitting the town with a few friends. Sunday was more relaxing, with an afternoon stroll around the National Gallery of Ireland with himself followed by an extended pit stop in a little Italian cafe in town where I managed to maintain my self control and skip the coffee as I am currently abstaining and opting for tea instead.
So that has pretty much been my last week or so. This week is not really much better but I have a long weekend next week thanks to all my time in lieu and I am very very excited to be seeing one of my closet friends who is popping over for a visit after moving to sunnier (Australian) shores last year.
Did I really (foolishly) say I preferred busy time instead of down time?!
